Dubbo Branch General Meeting
The rains have been soft upon our fields and have made such a dramatic and welcome change to the western plains.
We have made some changes to our meeting plans for April so that we can continue to enjoy the benefits of membership of the NSW Farmers.
NSW Farmers is providing an easy to use platform for the Dubbo Branch to take advantage of from the comfort of your own home.
We will meet using an online platform called GoToMeeting. Andrew your RSM is more than happy to help if required, he will open the meeting 30 minutes early for those who want to test it before hand. You can join the meeting using your landline, mobile phone or computer. This is a different means of coming together and many members and branches are already using this successfully, so although it may be daunting at first we will all benefit from trying something new.

As our April meeting is usually very busy with the AGM and finalisation of motions for Annual Conference, The Dubbo Branch meeting will be split into two meetings over two weeks. This will give us time to adapt to meeting using different technology. The first meeting is a general meeting to make sure that everyone is comfortable to use the technology and start discussion relating to the motions for conference while the second meeting is the AGM, with input from a policy advisor and the finalisation of motions for conference. Please plan to join both meetings.
NSW Farmers' Dubbo Branch General Meeting will be held at 7:00pm, Tuesday, 14 April, 2020. Our Regional Services Manager, Andrew Coughlan, will be available to get you online from 6:30pm prior to the commencement of the meeting.
The business of the General Meeting is expected to commence at 7:00pm and includes:
• Inland Rail update and discussion on progress of senate enquiry
• Report from the Executive Council Meeting – Shane Kilby
• Report form LLS Weeds committee – Doug Wilson
• Discussion of proposed motions for Conference
